James M.E. Angstadt, 62, Kutztown R 2, died yesterday in Allentown Hospital.
A native of Pike Township, Berks County, Angstadt was a son of the late Benjamin W. and Anna (Eckert) Angstadt. His last employment had been at the Kutztown Silk plant, He had formerly been a stone mason.
A member of the Evangelical and Reformed wing of New Jerusalem Church, Angstadt is survived by his wife, Estella B. (Ruppert) Angstadt three children, Grace M., wife of Walter A. Schaeffer, Topton, Benjamin J. Angstadt, Allentown R. 3, and Samuel E. Angstadt, Wescosville R. 1; five grandchildren and four sisters, Ida, wife of Wallace Reinert, Allentown; Margaret, wife of LeRoy Weitzel, Reading; Mrs. Mary Derr, Tamaqua, and Verna, wife of Harvey Miller, Kutztown.
