John Winkler, born about 1832 in Kentucky, was the husband of Mary Ann Rogers (or Rodgers). They resided in Randolph County, Missouri and had eight known children. Mary Ann died between 1862-1870. Her place of burial is not known. It seems highly likely that she is buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery, where her husband was later buried. They lived in Randolph County not far from the cemetery, which is across the county line in Monroe County.
