Richard Donald Dameron, 32, of Afton, passed away Friday night, Aug. 9, 2013.
He was born Aug. 13, 1980, in Waynesboro, a son of Jerry Donald Dameron and Dorothy Graybill Dameron.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Clifton Dameron.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy "Dot" Dameron of Afton; one niece, Elizabeth Aileen Dameron; one nephew, Nicholas Coleman of Afton; his nanny, Molly "Shorty" Davis of Afton; his best friend, Brian Faris of Shipman; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug.14, 2013 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
A gathering will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at the home of his mother, 25 Ennis Mountain Road, Afton.
