Lowville. Nov. 27.-Mrs. Sylvester Chapin died suddenly yesterday morning at her home near Copenhagen, aged 70 years The cause of death was heart trouble. She is survived by five daughters. Mrs. Eugene Sheldon and Miss Mabel Chapin of Copenhagen. Miss Myrtle Chapin of New York. Mrs. L W. Sheldon of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. John L. Williams of Barnes Corners.
Her birth name was Philena A. Abbey according to the Abbe Genealogy book on page 152 and 2 census records (1 when she lived in her parents house and another when married).
