Gertrude Guess Aleman, a homemaker, died Monday at her home. She was 90. Mrs. Aleman was born in Franklin and lived in Jefferson Parish for the past 74 years. Survivors include four sons, Donald E. Aleman, Sr., Larry E. Aleman, Sr., Ronald P. Aleman, Sr., and Michael L. Aleman, Sr.; a brother, Homer "Bud" Guess; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.
