On 12 Dec 1898, Lavinnia married Theophilus H. Ray, Jr. in Sebastian Co., AR. They made their first homes in Sevier Co., AR and then Pushmataha Co., OK, where they raised 6 children and they are:

Polly Emma Ray Kemp 1901 – 1982
Paul "Pete" Pinkney Ray 1903 – 1981
Luke Adam Ray 1910 – 1964

When most of the children were grown, they moved to New Mexico for a short time and later to Arizona where they spent the remainder of their lives and where they now rest. Theo preceded Vinnie in death by 25 years. Vinnie is doubly related to me. She is my 1st cousin, 2x rem by blood and she is also my great grand aunt by marriage.
