Elizabeth was the daughter of Peter Tobias Crawford and Gracy Myers Crawford. She married James Runnells "Jim" Nobles on December 30, 1890 in Madison County, MS. He predeceased her in 1913. She was a member of the Lone Cherry Church.

She was survived by six sons, George Noble of Winnsboro, Willie Nobles of Start, Alonzo, Walter and Robert Nobles, all of Mangham; and Samuel Nobles of Sterlington; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Miller of Winnsboro; Mrs. Della Brown of Baskin, and Mrs. Maurice Valentine of Mangham; one sister, Mrs. Della Thomas of West Monroe and over 100 grandchildren.
