Mrs. Aileen "Dotty" Abbate was born to the union of Aileen and Ralph Coelho in San Jose, CA, on July 10, 1934. She received her early education at San Joaquin Memorial High School and later attended University of California, Davis.

Dotty then continued her education at Fresno State University where she met Hal Abbate. The 2 were later married and had 3 sons and 2 daughters.

Form many years and until her homecoming on Thursday, July 15, 2004, dotty was a very active business and humanitarian.

Mrs. Aileen "Dotty" Abbate leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 sons, Jim and Hal Jr of Fresno, and Laurence of Los Anteles; her daughter Alyse Knight of Fresno; nine Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at 1:00p.m.

Lisle Funeral Home was in charge of services.
