Victoria Anselmo Milligan

SANTA FE- Mrs.
Victoria Anselmo Milligan entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, August 3, 2003, in Webster. Mrs. Milligan was born July l6, 1910, in Salt Lake City,Utah, to Minnie and
Jerome Anselmo.

She had been a resident of Santa Fe for 65 years, previously of Galveston. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock and enjoyed gardening and sewing, but her greatest joy was her family. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother and
Christian. She was very much loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her husband Edward Alford Milligan,

Mrs. Milligan is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Lee Beard of Oklahoma, Minnie Scott of Austin, Alene and Edwin Holmstrom of Orange. Rosalie and Melvin Hanik of Pearland, Willie Mize of Hitchcock, Anna and John Wiliiford of Browbridge, Louisiana, Johnnie and
Byron Turner of Friendswood, Frances and Dillon Wooten of Santa Fe; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerome Milligan of Santa Fe, Patrick and Bertha Milligan of Santa Fe; brothers, Vincent and Kelly Anselmo, both of Santa Fe;
sisters, Margaret Wilson of Houston, Josephine Freeman and Frances Wilkinson, both of Galveston; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.

A vigil service will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 5,
2003, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Sister Mary Ann Hollmann officiating. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at Our Lady
of Lourdes Catholic Church, the Rev. John Kappe, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Paul Beard, Lee Beard, Jr., Mitchell Hanzik, Edward Hanzik, Dillon Wooten, Jr., Michael Wooten and Matthew Wooten.

Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Santa Fe. (409) 925-3501.
