Funeral services for Doris M. VAN VORCE, 80, of 600
Sterling St. North Baltimore, will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, with Tom Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Mrs. VAN VORCE died at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 24,1999 at Blakely Care Center, North Baltimore. She was born March 11,1919 in Wood County to William M. and Ruby M. LONG TATHAM. She married Fred A. VAN VORCE on Oct.18,1938, and they were divorced in 1968.
Surviving are a companion Edgar "Barry" Chapman, North Baltimore; a son Carl W. VAN VORCE, Lima; two Daughters, Bonnie L. VAN VORCE THOMAS, Findlay; Sandra K. VAN VORCE HOFFMAN, Frisco Texas; seven Grandchildren; nine Great Grandchildren; and a brother William Junior TATHAM, Celina. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie and Kermit TATHAM.
Mrs. VAN VORCE was a retired employee of BGSU food service and a homemaker. She was a member of the Hoytville, United Methodist Church, North Baltimore American Legion Post 539, Pythian Sisters, The North Baltimore Eagles 2633, and Moose Lodge 698, Findlay.
