William Junior Tatham, 94, of North Baltimore, died April 12, 2016, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born August 27, 1921, in Wood County to the late William M. and Ruby (Long) Tatham. He married Olive Grace Sprague and she preceded him in death May 22, 1981. He later married Sally Dehnel March 10, 1984, and she survives. Bill is also survived by his son, W. Thomas (Maria) Tatham of Bowling Green, his grandchildren, Julie, Laura, Allen, John, Tyler and Trent, numerous great grandchildren, and a daughter in law, Lisa Tatham of Waterville. He was preceded in death by his son, James B. Tatham, his daughter, L. Renee Salomone, brothers, Kermit and Leslie Tatham, a sister, Doris VanVorce. Bill retired in 1990 as a Principle for McComb Local Schools. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539, Fraternal Order of Eagles and V.F.W. in Celina, and the Moose Lodge in Lima. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, Ohio Education Association, and a charter member of Phi Delta Kappa in Bowling Green. A funeral service will be held at 11am April 25, 2016, at the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, North Baltimore with Reverend Susan Kronbach officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore, where full military rites will be conducted by the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539. Visitation will be held April 24, 2016, from 12 noon-5pm at SMITH CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539 and or Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist.
