Andrew Cartwright, 83, of Rt. 1, Bay City, died Jan. 3, 1977 in Matagorda General Hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1893 in Goduis, La.
Survivors include, his widow, Mrs. Bessie Cartwright; one daughter, Dorothy Callis and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Ashwood Union Baptist Church Jan. 7 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. W. M. Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Allenhurst Cemetery in Matagorda County. Penn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
