She wed James Silas "Jim" Grant, the son of Alfred Monroe "Ab" Grant and Lucinda Jane Truitt on December 16, 1897 in Macon County, NC.

The couple made their home in Nantahala, Swain County, NC where they are listed on the Federal Census for 1900, 1910, and 1920. They returned to Nantahala, ?Macon County by 1930 where they were listed on the U.S. Census for that year and for 1935 and 1940. Ann passed away in Macon County on October 2, 1962 and Jim followed her in ?Jackson County on January 7, 1977. Their bodies lie in rest in Briartown Baptist Church Cemetery but they are united in Heaven.
