MY GRANDMA DIED TODAY:

My Grandma died today
There is stillnes in the air
Humanity has lost a treasure
An invauable soul

My Grandma died today
All of a sudden the world looks differently
People take on more meaning
I am aware of the awesome contribution
One woman can make

A mother of 3
A giver of joy
An anchor
A harbor
A safe haven in a cruel world
A quiet rest in times of trouble

My Grandma died today
It's time for me to give honour
Pay respect
Reflect

How can I give honour without her presence?
carry on, yes, carry on
If I live my life with love...she lives
If I live my life with hate...she dies
I honour her with my life

My Grandma died today
Yet through love...she lives

I love you grandma. - Diane Stewart, July 1994
