Churubusco-Allien L. Poupore, 83, of Route 189, died Friday, Jan. 20, 1995, at Alice Hyde Nursing Home, Malone, where she had been a resident since July 1990.
Born in Ellenburg Center, July 15, 1911, she was the daughter of Joseph and Amelia LaBombard Trombley.
On April 25, 1932, she was married to Eli Ernest Poupore in St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg. He predeceased her on Nov. 9, 1989.
Mrs. Poupore was a homemaker her whole life. She and her husband owned and operated the family farm.
Surviving are six sons and daughters-in-law, Ross and Carol Poupore, Lee and Cecilia Poupore, and William and Cathy Poupore, all of Churubusco, Ernest and Ann Poupore, and Gordon and Marcia Poupore, both of San Mateo, Fla., and Gerald and Lynn Poupore of Lincoln, Calif.; one daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Glen Cowan of Chateaugay; 22 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Poupore was predeceased by four brothers, Eddie, William, Ellsworth and Roy Trombley; four sisters, Edna LaClair, Maime Miller, Malena Whalen and Ethel Poupore; 2 grandsons, Todd and David Poupore; and a great grandson, Anthony Malloy.
Calling hours at the Chateaugay Funeral Home, Chateaugay, will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A vigil service in the funeral home will be held at 8:15 tonight. A Mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Churubusco, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Howard McCasland and Rev. Joseph Trombley officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
