Christian Albrecht, 93, Rolla, died Friday, Aug. 19, 1994, in Present Care Center, Rolette, N.D.
Christian Albrecht was born Dec. 9, 1910, in Rolette, the son of Gustav and Clara (Schoenberg) Albrecht. He served in the Army during World War II, and he worked in the 1930s and 1940s at a creamery in Perth, N.D. He removed to Rolla, where he started and operated a carpentry and painting business for more than 50 years.
He is survived by sons, Gerald, Southlake, Texas, and Lonnie, Fargo; a daughter, Linda Freeman, Burbank, Calif.; four grandchildren; brothers, Walter, Mylo, N.D., Rudolph, Salem, Ore., Alfred, Kalispell, Mont, Elmer, Rolla, and sisters, Martha Disrud, Freda Disrud and Hertha Meyer, all of Rolla; and Mathilda LaPayne, Harlingen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Herman.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rolla.
Visitation: 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Niewoehner Funeral Home, Rolla.
Burial: Rolla Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 235, Rolla.
