Charles was the son of Ray Lee Gaskins, Sr., and Lossie Vera Hardesty. He was husband of Elizabeth Anne Balkoun and was the father of Charles L. Gaskins Jr; Katherine Ann Gaskins Smith; Paul Lee Gaskins; and the late Robert Knox Gaskins. He is loved and deeply missed.
