Earlene Free, 74, of Middletown, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at her residence. She was born in Lee County, Ky., on Sept. 16, 1925, to Willie and Sarah McIntosh and lived in this area since 1949. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Free in 1991; her parents; a sister, Louise Harrett; and a brother, Wilbur McIntosh. She leaves two sons, Bobby Cooper, and his wife, Helen, of Middletown, and Richard Free Sr., and his wife, Sharon, of West Moreland, Tenn.; a grandson whom she raised, Richard Lee Free Jr., and his wife, Alison; eight other grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Silas McIntosh of Lima Creek, Ky
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Joseph Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, with the Rev. James R. Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
