He married Viva Nielsen June 9, 1945, in South Wales, England.
He retired from carpentering in 1973, having worked for Larsen and Jipp Construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Viva; a daughter, a son, two grandchildren and one brother.
