MITHVILLE – Funeral services for Solon Garrison, 87, a resident of Smithville are to be held Saturday, February 4th at 1:00 in the chapel of Love Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, TN. Burial will be in the Smellage Cemetery, Putnam County.
Mr. Garrison died Thursday, February 2, 1984 in DeKalb General Hospital.
A native of Silver Point in Putnam County, his parents were the late William C. and Sarah Wallace Garrison. His wife was the late Nettie Helms Garrison. He was a retired farmer. His family includes 2
sons, L. B. Garrison, Smithville and Clifford Garrison of Salem, IN; 8 grandchildren & 8 greatgrandchildren.
