The Oklahoman, Sunday, July 14, 1946:
Masonic services will be conducted in the First Christian Church at 9 am Monday for James O. Earley, 64, Frisco conductor who died Friday of carcinoma in his home at 704 NE 14.

Earley, a resident of the city since 1893, had been employed by Frisco 48 years. He was born Aug 4, 1991 at Springfield, MO and came to Oklahoma City with his parents, the late James and Frances Earley, from Arkansas City, KS.

Active in social life, Earley was at one time president of the local chapter of the Order of Railway Conductors. He was a Shriner, and a member of the Masonic lodge, and First Christian Church.

Rev. W. H. Alexander will officiate services and burial will be in Rose Hill Abbey under direction of Watts Funeral Home.
