KINGWOOD — Charles J. Haughn, 89, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005, in Kingwood, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Haughn was born April 15, 1915 in Kansas. He was a retired pipefitter. He served his country in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his daughters Donna Hardin of Huffman and Jackie Monks and husband Terry, of Colorado; grandchildren, Darrin, Kevin and Greg Monks, Montana and Crystal Hardin; brother-in-law George McCoy and wife Mary; nephew Steve McCoy; and 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P O Box 15186, Austin, TX 78761; American Diabetes Association, P O Box 1130, Fairfax, VA., 22038-1130; or the Alzheimer’s Association, 11251 Northwest Fwy., Ste. 300, Houston, TX 77092-9632.
