Ethel 'Kitty' O'Bryan Riddell

Mrs. Ethel "Kitty" O'Bryan Riddell, 73, of Grenada, died of cancer Thursday, October 2, 1997 at Decatur General Hospital in Decatur, Ala.

Mrs. Riddell was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Decatur. She was past president of the Mississippi Medical Association, and a former director of the Northwest Area of the American Heart Association. She was the widow of Dr. Mal S. Riddell, Jr.

Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 6 at Garner Harper Chapel with Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada.

Mrs. Riddell is survived by one daughter, Jean Ann Anderson Decatur; three sons, Dr. Mal S. Riddell, III, of Grenada; John F. Riddell of Dallas, Texas, William S. Riddell of Montgomery, Ala.; one sister, Rachel Dugger of Memphis; two brothers, David O'Bryan of Winona, Virgil O'Bryan of Orlando, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

Garner-Harper Funeral Home of Grenada was in charge of arrangements.
