Maryella Hanes-Cheal Mason Formerly of Lansing, Michigan A piece of Michigan history will be laid to rest on Monday, July 29. Maryell Hanes-Cheal was born on June 1, 1917 in Delta Township and passed away on July 24, 2013 in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 96. Maryella was an amazing daughter, wife, sister, stepmother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, aunt, great and great great aunt. She loved visiting with family, friends, and everyone she would meet. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, July 29, 2013. At Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2:00~4:00 PM and 6~8:00 PM at the funeral home. Those desiring, may make contributions to Heartland Hospice, 865 S. Cedar, Mason, MI 48854 or the First United Methodist Church of Mason, 201 E. Ash St., Mason, MI 48854. The interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, Michigan. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.
