Allene Gertrude Woodland Libbert, 78, of Jefferson City, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at her daughter's home. She was born March 1, 1929, in Jefferson City, the daughter of William and Nellie Sadie Tucker Woodland. She was married July 20, 1946, in Jefferson City, to Raymond John Libbert, who died February 14, 1996. A homemaker all her life, Mrs. Libbert was a loving mother to eight children, 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She loved gardening and was a recipient of the Garden of the Month Award in 2003. Survivors include: four daughters and their husbands, Karen and John Claus, Broken Arrow, Okla., Barbara and Phil Wood, Eldon, Mo., Sheila and Vic Vickers, Tulsa, Okla., and Christina Breuer, Linn, Mo.; four sons and their wives, Terry and Marsha Libbert, St. Martins, Mo., Daryl and Kristi Libbert, Centertown, Mo., Marlin and Sonya Libbert, Holts Summit, Mo., and Melvin and Becky Libbert, Russellville, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Janet Woodland, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters, Peggy Weber, Frieda Bax, Grace Hudgens, Margaret Sutton; and three brothers, Jim Woodland, Jewel Woodland, and Harold Woodland. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2007, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A Schmidt officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Community Hospices of America, 2418 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
