LEE, BERKSHIRE Co., MA - Mrs. Frances Taylor (Gilson) Sweet, ( 77y ) d: December 15, 1918 - a former resident of this city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Winters, of Lee late last night as the result of a shock. Her maiden name was Miss Frances Taylor Gilson and she was a native of Grafton, VT. With her parents she came to Pittsfield when a baby and lived here for a time, going to Lee in 1860 where she had ever since resides. Her husband was a veteran of the Civil war, enlisting in 1862 and being mustered out in 1865. He did several years ago. Mrs. Sweet was a communicant of St. George's church in Lee. She leaves the following children, William Sweet of Hudson, NY., Mrs. Mary Ackert of Lenox Dale, Mrs. Edward F. Mougin of Lee, Mrs. Mabel Shirley of Brooklyn, Mrs. Edward Clark and Mrs. Charles Winters of Lee. Mrs. Frank Millard of Lenox Dale and Robert Sweet of State Line. jar END:
