GRANDPARENTS:
George Charles Bunch and Amanda (Hurst) Bunch settled in "Bunchtown" and had 9 children. The family lived in Bunchtown until 1933, when TVA was established, came through and bought all the land in the area and forced families to spread out over East Tennessee, The only thing remaining in "Bunchtown" today is a large cemetery, which is visited and maintained periodically.

He was overseas in World War ll, June 4, 1942 - May 13, 1945.
While in a fox hole, during battle, he accepted Jesus as his Savior. Joined Raven Hill Missionary Baptist Church, July 14, 1976, and was baptized.

He loved to fish, and hunt. I have good
memories of just the two of us, going out
in his fishing boat, on Clinch River, and staying most of the day. Mommy would pack us a lunch, and we would find a little island to eat at.
