ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. HARRIS - Mrs. J. B. Harris, aged 65 years, died at her home near Kentuck last Thursday after an illness of several days. The funeral services were held Saturday under the direction of Rev. J. M. Anderson and burial was in the Hatcher cemetery. She was united in marriage to J. B. Harris forty-nine years ago and to this union eight children were born, Elva Keebaugh of Ripley, G. L. Harris, who died 14 years ago, Nettie Casto, Bessie Casto and Vada Carpenter, all of Akron, Bertha Mays of Fletcher, Luther Harris of Belgrove and Jasper Harris of Fletcher. She became a member of the United Brethren church early in life and lived a devoted Christian life and was loved by all who knew her. The husband, seven children, 3 brothers and 2 sisters survive.
