HATCHER, John C. - 93, of Ripley, formerly of Cross Lanes, died Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James Goodson, 116 Ravenswood Pike, after a long illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the EUB Church at Bellgrove.

Surviving are a son, William E. of Charleston; three other daughters, Mrs. Lester Casto of Ripley, Mrs. Dale Parsons of Cross Lanes, and Mrs. Ernie Crihfield of Statts Mill; 24 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Goshen Church at Kentuck by the Rev. William Layne. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. The body is at the Cunningham Funeral Home and will be taken to the church an hour before the service.
