Solomon Irick, 78, of 1945 NW 9, died Monday morning in his home following a heart attack. Born in Lamasco, TX, Irick moved to Oklahoma City about 1914. He was a real estate man and had been semi-retired several years. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and a life member of the Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Nellie Irick, of the home; a daughter, Mrs Nettie Hogatt; and three sons, Burl, Solomon and Gail, all of California; two brothers, Fred O Irick, Fresno, CA; and L C Irick, Pilot Point, TX; one sisters, Mrs Mattie Taylor, Rock Wall, TX; and three grandchildren. Services will be announced by Guardian Funeral Home.
