Roberts Found Dead
Early Saturday morning Coroner J.H. Straughn was notified that Trammel Roberts, about 80 years of age, had been found dead beside a spring, and asked if he would hold an inquest. Mr. Roberts had been making his home with the family of Robert Bell, who reside ten miles southwest of Lexington, and on Saturday morning had gone to the spring, not far from the house. for a pail of water. Mr. Bell himself came to town, and from what he was able to tell Coroner Straughn, that official concluded that Mr. Roberts had died of heart failure, and that an inquest was unnecessary.
