She was employed by Danielson Drug Co, Minneapolis, until her retirement in 1959. It was at that time she took up painting, had several shows in California, where she had moved to be closer to her sister Lissa.
At her death she was survived by three sisters; Lissa Rolfe, Oakland California, Dortha Bryan, of Hopkins, MN, Mary Lyons of St Paul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Oliver and Allan J..and sister Enid Howard.
A memorial service was conducted Nov. 9, 1981, at the Princeton Methodist Church, where was an active member as a child.
