MRS. EDNA M. ALLEN
Mrs. Edna M. Allen, daughter of the late John M. Hogin, wife of R. J. Allen, died at Baird, on September 26th at 9:10 p.m. She leaves a devoted husband and many other relatives to bemoan her untimely end. Deceased lived in this city up until the time of her marriage and was admired by many warm friends here. Mrs. Allen was married at the home of her parents on Harrison street six years ago, Rev. Dr. Newell Logan officiating. The surviving relatives, who join the bereaved husband in this sad death, are Mrs. Allen's mother, two brothers, three sisters and two small children. The remains were interred at Indianola cemetery Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, a large gathering of friends being in attendance.
