Edwin L. Gotwalt, 88, formerly of 490 King St. died yesterday in Nottingham Village Nursing Home. He was retired from Northeastern Penitentiary, Lewisburg, and was a former part-time employee of Bucknell University, Lewisburg; a graduate of York High School; a member of St. John Lutheran Church and York Mount Zion Odd Fellows Lodge 74; and a former member of Lewisburg Kiwanis Club. He was the widower of Alma Naomi Allison Gotwalt. Surviving are two daughters, Norma J. Gotwalt of Camp Hill and Doris E. Roush of Northumberland; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be held at 1: 30 p.m. Monday in Mount Rose Cemetery, York. Blank Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
