Trixie was born December 21, 1939 in Xenia, IL to Dilla and Mildred (Luttrell) Baity.
For over 35 years she lived in Clinton, IL where she worked for Wilson Chrysler Jeep. Upon retirement, she returned to Clay County to live. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Xenia and enjoyed being a member of the quilting group at the church where they sewed and made handmade quilts. Trixie was strong in her faith and always enjoyed talking to people. She had been a member of the Clay County Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sister: Kay (Gary) Trotter; a niece: Monique (Kyu) Cho and their children Olivia, Adam, and Ian; along with several cousins that locally include: Tony (Chrystal) Luttrell and their children Whitney (Andrew) Cox and daughter Lilly, Jordan Luttrell, and Morgan Luttrell. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service for Trixie Baity was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
Interment wss in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia.
