There is reported to be no tombstone for Corp William Curtis Harper. However, there are tombstones here for some of his kin.

The Old Buffalo Church Cemetery is on a small hill on the east side of Highway 1249 opposite the Buffalo Baptist Church.

Note: "Buffalo Cemetery is in Rockcastle County, Kentucky,
but is isn't near Conway. It's near Mount Vernon.
It may also be called Pleasant Valley Cemetery."

"The Buffalo cemetery, where the Harpers are buried, is close to a small community called Sand Springs, Rockcastle County, KY. You take the Sand Springs Rd. out of Mt. Vernon and go to Buffalo Branch Rd. to get there. It's not too far from the Harper Cemetery, in fact,
"you go right by the Buffalo Cemetery going to the Harper cemetery."

Note:
William was a member of the Line Creek Baptist Church along with
his Father, Drewry Harper. In the Civil War, he served as a
private and corporal with the 1st Kentucky Cavalry. He also
served in the Kentucky Militia after the war. He is said to be
Buried at the Buffalo (Pleasant Valley) Cemetery, although no marker exists today.
