Thelma Estelle Bramlett, 101, passed Sunday, July 14, 2013, at a hospice care home. She was born May 12, 1912 in Union Count, MS to James Baxter and Sara Jane Williams. She was a lifelong member of Orchi Baptist Church and she retired from Shelby County, TN Juvenile Court as a Family Counselor. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Bramlett. Mrs. Bramlett is survived by three sons, Jerry E. Bramlett (Brenda), Barlus G. Bramlett, Jimmy W. Bramlett, Sr. (Billie Jean); 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed as the center of this family. Pallbearers will be Eric Barnett, Keith Floyd,Jeremiah Collum, Jonah Collum, Josiah Collum, and Jesse Capps. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, and funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., all at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue.
