Coradell Tubbs

PONTOTOC Coradell Williams Tubbs, 91, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at the Pontotoc Nursing Home. She was born June 20, 1918, to James Baxter Williams and Sarah Blagg Williams. She was a member of the Bethany Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Services will be at 11a.m. Monday at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Ecru with Elder Larry Wise officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Ecru is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her four daughters, Marilyn Huddleston (Leslie) of Southaven, Lexy Smart( Lynn) of New Albany, Wanda Hale (Carthel) of Pontotoc, and Debbie McMillen (Harry) of Pontotoc; one son, Bobby Tubbs (Janette) of Southaven; one sister, Estelle Bramlett of Memphis; one brother, Jack Williams of Pontotoc; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle Tubbs; a son, Doyle Ray Tubbs; four brothers; and one sister.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home in Ecru.
