Don was born October 28, 1920 in Orma, W.Va. He retired from B&W with 31 years of service. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1066.

He was preceded in death by first wife, Alma. He is survived by second wife, Pauline; son, Don Booher Jr.; daughters, Kathryn Hendrix, May Kuykendall, Donna Pait, and Lisa Boychi; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny; sister, Mona Harris; and step-children, Donald, Thomas, Richard, Larry Seymour, and Susan Uldrich.
