BARBERTON -- Mona Harris, 82, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born December 13, 1927 in Orma, W.Va. to Ollie and Nora Booher. Mona worked at many jobs in her lifetime, but the one place she had the fondest memories of, was the Ohio Brass in Barberton from which she retired.
She is survived by her daughters, Margie Johnson and Shirley (John) Pritt Potter; sons, David (Patty) Harris, Tom Harris and James Harris; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, John (Omajean) Booher of Rittman; as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Haas, Dr. Hines, Dr. Lynch, Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Kennedy; the staff at Barberton Hospital 1 East and a big thank you to Hospice Care Center.
