Abraham Shriver, 99 of Wadestown, died Saturday at 2:15 p.m. at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born July 26, 1872 at Wadestown, a son of the late Abraham and Delilah Straight Shriver. He was a retired farmer and livestock dealer.

Survivors include five nieces, Mrs. Edna Berdine of Wadestown, Mrs. Ella Kent of Mannington, Mrs. Lucy Whisler of Morgantown, Mrs. Stella Gerrard of Burton, Mrs. Effie Lemley of Fairmont, two nephews Diaz Tennant and Otis Shriver both of Wadestown.

Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends will be received at the Hunt Funeral Home in Hundred after 7 p.m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the West Warren Baptist Church in Wadestown to lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday the hour of services at the church with the Re. Clark Neptune officiating. Burial will be in Wadestown Cemetery, (clipping Sylvia Sine Whittaker)
