Wedding Announcement

Roos - Cahanin.

One of the pretty weddings of the past week was that of Mr. Ernest Hugo Roos and Miss Mary Lee Cahanin, which was quietly celebrated Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock at the residence of Rev. Father Joseph F. Lambert, of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Louisiana Avenue and Chestnut Street. The bride is a charming young lady from Opelousas, where she enjoys a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Gamille Roos, 1317 Louisiana Avenue, and holds a responsible position with the Hampton Reynolds Contracting Company, now engaged in some large contracts in this city. Following the impressive ceremony by Father Lambert, an informal reception was held at the groom's parents, which was attended only by immediate members of the two families. Mr. and Mrs. Roos were the recipients of many hearty congratulations and happy remembrances. They will make their home for the present at No. 1713 Louisiana Avenue. - N. O. Picayune.
