A funeral for Geneva C. Parsons will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Canby Funeral Chapel.
She died of cancer Friday in a Tigard nursing home. She was 67.
Mrs. Parsons was born Feb. 13, 1927, in Bowdon, N.D. Her maiden name was Fike . She grew up in North Dakota. She was widowed twice. She married Alvin Rodacker when she was a young woman. They moved to Oregon. Her second husband, Lester Reed , died in 1980. She married Elvin M. Parsons on Sept. 6, 1981.
Before she retired, Mrs. Parsons worked as a waitress, cannery worker and a sales clerk for Sears.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her sons, Gary and Ronald Rodacker of Portland and Arnold Rodacker of Milwaukie; daughter, Sue Kearsey of Eagle Creek; sisters, Delores Kost of Fessenden, N.D., and Elaine Fruhwirth of Aurora; brothers, Lee and Earl Fike of Fessenden, N.D., Dennis and Larry Fike of Fargo, N.D., and James Fike of Burleson, Texas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation.
