Mrs. Sadie Keller, 78, 409 Pleasant St., died Thursday, Feb 9, 1967, in Memorial Community Hospital. She had fallen in her home the previous Sunday. Known to everyone as "Aunt Sadie", Mrs. Keller had lived all her life in the Edgerton area. She was born in Dane County on Aug. 1, 1888, the daughter of Frank and Mary Gress. SHe was married to James Keller on Sept. 22, 1910. Mr. Keller, who died in 1948, was an Edgerton merchant for many years, with Pringle Bros. & Keller. Mrs. Keller was a retired employee of the Edgerton Division of Nunn-Bush Shoe Co. She was a member of the Methodist CHurch and formerly a member of its official board, the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 63, American Legion Auxiliary and the Benefit Circle. Surviving are a son, Stanley, Edgerton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday At the Methodist Church, with Rev. Lyman G. Farrar officiating. miss Carol Johnson was organist. Legion Auxiliary services were held at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the Ellingson Funeral Home, followed by Order of Eastern Star services at 7:30. Burial was at Fassatt Cemetary. The pallbearers were Lee Van Valin, Lwrence Wileman, Frederick Wileman, Robert Gress, Thomas Gessert and Russell Ellefson.
