INDIAN WHO LIVED IN THIS SECTION 60 YEARS TO BE BURIED TODAY
Simon Perry, 60, Chickasaw Indian who was born in Indian Territory and spent all of his life in this section, died Friday afternoon at his home near High Hill, three miles southeast of Ada.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Indian Baptist church at High Hill, Rev. Sam Hawkins officiating.
Burial will be in High Hill cemetery. He had been a member of that church since he was a lad.
Perry served six years as deputy sheriff under Bob Duncan.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Cacey Perry; eleven daughters, Mrs. Lucy Homer, Mrs. Frances Johnson, Mrs. Eva Clark, Mrs. Rena Miller, and Nora, July, Josie, Lilly, Eddie, Alma, Amanda and Lona Perry; and three sons, Albert Guy and Hiawatha Eugene.
