Miss L. A. Schenck, whose serious illness at Grand Rapids was mentioned in last night's TIMES, died Monday evening, according to a telegram received later. The remains will be brought here for interment in Mt. Adnah cemetery, arriving Thursday. Deceased was the daughter of Surveyor Peter Schenck. The daughter was prominent in foreign mission work and in literature. Death was due to an operation for apendicitis.
