Clyo – David Seckinger, 67, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Candler Hospital. The Effingham County native was employed with C.S.X. and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher David Seckinger, Sr. and Viola Joyner Seckinger.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Edwards Seckinger; sons, Shane Smith and Derick Seckinger; grandchildren, Hailey and Macy Smith, Madison, Landon, and Logan Seckinger; siblings, Willie Joe Seckinger, Robert "Pie" Seckinger, and Harriett Wynn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
