Services for Alvin F. Angerhofer, 60, who lived 15-1/2 miles southwest of Aberdeen, were held Monday afternoon in St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland Township. The Rev. E. K. Hartenberger officiated.
John Kushman Jr., sang two solos. The Rev. Edgar Streufert was organist. State and local officers of the Federal Crop Insurance Adjusters, members of Kiwanis Club and Brown County Courthouse employes attended the service in groups.
Burial was in St. John's Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Ristau, Claude Rozell, William Richert, Chester Dahme and Fred Brick, all of Mansfield; and John Kushman Sr., Herman Elsing and George Casanova Sr., of Aberdeen.
Active pallbearers, all nephews, were Harold Shilman, Norman Dahme, and Alan Dahme, all of Mina; Norman Brick, Lloyd Brick and Dwaine Shilman, of Aberdeen; Donald Ristau of Mansfield, and Armin Pinkert of Big Stone City.
Mr. Angerhofer, who was administrator of the Federal Crop Insurance program of Brown County, died Thursday afternoon following an illness of 10 days.
