RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — DEITKE – Anthony Jr., 79, Richland Township, died Jan. 9, 2012, at home. Born Jan. 13, 1932, in Johnstown, son of Anthony and Pauline (Panek) Deitke. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Richard. Survived by wife, Florence (Kolonich), whom he married June 26, 1954. Also survived by children, Linda, Johnstown; Christine Rose, Boswell; Brian (Trisha Tompkins), Johnstown; and Brenda (John Lorenz), Chicago, Ill.; and three grandchildren; also brother, Donald, Johnstown. Member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired from Island Creek Coal Co. By request, there will be no public viewing. Those who wish may attend a funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Church, the Rev. Angelo J. Patti. Committal, Richland Mausoleum, where military rites will be conducted by Conemaugh Valley Detachment Marine Corps League 287. Arrangements by Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills.
