Clifford Greer, the son of John and Mary Greer, was born on March 28, 1893. He was one of nine children born to this couple.
He spent his younger years in the town of Bradford, Ohio, where he married Myrtle Miller. To this union were born six children, Franklin, Kathryn, Anna, Delmas, Joyce, and Paul Greer.
Mr. Greer became united to the Episcopal M.E. Church of Bradford, Ohio, in 1913, later removing his membership to the Grace Methodist Church of Lima, Ohio, in 1925.
On the twentieth day of December, 1942, at 2 a.m., Clifford, the beloved husband of Myrtle Greer, passed away at his home after an illness of twelve months. There were two sons, Franklin and Delmas who preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his departure his beloved wife, Myrtle Greer and four children; Mrs. Kathryn Knopp, Mrs. Ranseford Button, Joyce and Paul Greer, who all reside in Flat Rock, Michigan; two grandchildren, Joy Ann Butt on and Robert Louis Knopp of Flat Rock, Michigan.
Five brothers, Perry Greer of Woodington, Ohio; Clarence Greer of Versailles, Ohio; Charlie Greer of Peru, Ind.; William and Lloyd of Bradford, Ohio, and Roy Greer, whose address is unknown. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
